Karavaev: “We expect nothing but a victory against Scotland”
Dynamo football player and Ukraine national team Oleksandr Karavaev talked about the result they expect in the game they will play against Scotland on 1 June.
“We understand that the only result that should be in the Scotland game is a victory. We do not expect anything else. We understand how important this game is and how far we have come.
We know and see what has happened to us this year, but our soldiers have shown how strong our spirit is, our nation and all our citizens who do not help, even at the front, volunteer, contribute and work for a single victory.
“We want and do everything in education to show the confident and desired outcome that everyone expects from us.”
The World Cup playoff match between Scotland and Ukraine will be played on 1 June in Glasgow.
