Alexander PIKHALENOK: “Two days was enough for me and my wife”
Oleksandr Pikhalyonok, 25-year-old midfielder of the Ukrainian national team, talked about how he spent the weekend provided by the technical committee.
“I rested well, gained strength. We will prepare for the upcoming matches with renewed energy. I think we will be well prepared. Yes, I met my wife, had a good time. Two days was enough.
War? We think about it every day, we read the news. We call them relatives. We are aware of everything that is going on. Most importantly, we win the matches and load positive emotions to our people. Goals? This is my job. Every football player gains self-confidence through training and matches. Every day, every exercise is important now. If we give ourselves one hundred percent, then everything will be fine for us,” said Pikhalenok.
