Ruslan MALINOVSKY: “This collection has more weight than it did a few years ago”
Ruslan Malinovsky, midfielder of the Ukrainian national team, said the following about the preparations for the play-off match against Scotland in the 2022 World Cup:
“Yesterday there was a very good load, intense training. We are getting ready. We have to work hard before these matches. Everyone will congratulate Zinchenko on the championship. What happened after the match was an important moment, supported by the stadium. It is clear from him how worried he is for Ukraine.
I want to congratulate him on his championship. I don’t think this is his last championship. Players in Europe should show what character we have. We cannot do anything else on the field, but we can show on the field what our Ukrainian spirit is and what kind of person we are.
When everyone arrives, more tactical moments will begin. We must remember the connections we have in the field. Let’s get ready. This camp, these games weigh a little more than a few years ago.”
