SOBOL: “The struggle of our soldiers for the freedom of Ukraine is very motivating”
Belgian Club Brugge player Eduard Sobol He talked about the training process in the Ukrainian national team.
“Finally, everyone has gathered, I’m glad to see everyone, I want to say hello to everyone. I am very happy to join the national team. We celebrated the Bruges championship in a nice way, after the penultimate round the team celebrated and finally we celebrated with the fans.
I am ready to intervene immediately in the affairs of the national team, because the club is already closed. Hence all the thoughts about the national team. As for the Scottish team, I will say that it is a good competitor. I expect a tough match but we can beat the Scots. The guys have been preparing for a fight for a long time, so we are in a good mood and in good shape.
Also, the struggle of our soldiers for the freedom and independence of Ukraine is very motivating. I want to bring joy to people with this and subsequent victories. That’s why we will do everything we can to bring pleasant feelings to people in Ukraine.”
Recall that the semi-final match of the 2022 World Cup qualifying play-off between the national teams of Scotland and Ukraine will be played on 1 June in Glasgow at Hampden Park stadium (21.45).
