Ukrainian fans urge Scots to sing a hit about Putin
Ukrainian diaspora and football fans urge the Scots to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces and sing a famous song together.
Prior to the Scotland-Ukraine match, which will be played as part of the 2022 World Cup playoffs in Qatar, Ukrainian volunteers distribute leaflets calling for financial support to the Ukrainian army. The initiative belongs to the Ukrainian diaspora in the UK.
Also, one of the types of brochures calls to sing a famous hit about the president of the Russian Federation. The link on the postcard leads to a video with a song about Putin.
According to Sport.ua, at least 4,000 fans of the Ukrainian national team are expected to attend the match today. In total, the Hampden Park stadium can accommodate more than 52,000 spectators.
