The volunteer became a commentator on the match of the Ukrainian national team in order to raise money for tablets for the army.

Yesterday, the national football team of Ukraine fought like real lions and won a ticket to the next round of the World Cup playoffs, beating Scotland (1:3). Fans of the national team admired the equally important success: funds were collected for the Ukrainian army during the broadcast, and the audience donated a total of 2,200,000 UAH. With these funds, the Serhiy Prytula Foundation will purchase 500 tablets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was the first sports match to be commented on by the well-known volunteer Serhiy Prytula. Vadim Skichko, an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a professional sports commentator, helped him understand the intricacies of football. While the star tandem was commenting on the national team’s match, it could be watched on Youtube channel Footballhub and Sergei Prytula’s channel.

At the time of publication, it became known that Parimatch Ukraine decided to triple the amount of fees and donated 4.5 million UAH. This amount will be enough for another 1000 tablets for our warriors. This was announced by Serhiy Prytula at the end of the match.

At the end of the project, the total number of tablets was 1500.

“Ukrainian fans did their job with honor. Those who took root did their duty. And our audience did their job – they have already collected donations for more than 1000 tablets and continue to donate after the end of the match. It is great that our victories helped our joint great victory over the invaders. Currently only the national team I have never seen so much love in Ukrainians, who sincerely take root for the Ukrainian Armed Forces – not only for the fate of their state, but also for the fate of their state and those on whom this fate depends.” said Sergiy Prytula.

“As a company of Ukrainian origin, it is very important for us to do everything possible for our joint victory. For this reason, we decided to support the fundraising initiative while watching the national team match. This collaboration is a successful example of non-traditional fundraising from the Serhiy Prytula Foundation and a Ukrainian brand. I am confident that the tablets will help our soldiers to effectively fulfill their combat missions and bring victory closer,” said Natalia Gilevich, CEO of Parimatch Ukraine.

The Parimatch brand was one of the first to openly declare a pro-Ukrainian position in March and completely isolate Russia. For three months now, the Parimatch brand and its team have been helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces fight for something that cannot be taken by force – the victory of a free nation.
