For the eighth time in history, legionnaire Andriy Yarmolenko became the author of the first goal of the year for the national team of Ukraine, hitting the Scots in the 33rd minute. And he broke a record for the fourth time.
In 2014, Andrey attempted to score in a match with the USA (2: 0), in 2015 – Latvia (1: 1), and in 2018 – Switzerland (2: 1).
