Wales striker: ‘I can’t put into words what happened in the dressing room’
Welsh forward Kieffer Moore commented on the win against the Ukraine national team (1:0) in the play-off final of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
“If you had told me six or seven years ago that I would play in the Premier League and the World Cup, that’s incredible. Yes, I would pinch myself to see if I was dreaming. You can tell from our command how we all celebrate together, we sing the anthem together. It’s for the fans, everyone. It’s unbelievable not to put into words what happened in the locker room.
I agree, it’s hard to put into words. I am incredibly proud of everyone. Achieving this was a complete mission and we were lucky to have taken this step and crossed the line. We’re going to the World Cup. It’s all worth it – years of hard work,” said Moore.
