Australia beats UAE to advance to Intercontinental World Cup Qualification Playoffs
The Australian team defeated the UAE team (2:1) in the play-off match of the Asian qualifying zone. World Cup 2022. Previously, both teams had won an additional match by placing third in their groups.
Thus, representatives of the Green Continent qualified for the intercontinental playoffs for the World Cup in Qatar.
On 13 June, Australia will play against Peru for tickets to the final round of the World Cup. In the other playoff game, Costa Rica will play against New Zealand.
