On June 13, in Qatar, the Australian team defeated Peru in the final match of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

No goals scored in regular and overtime (0:0). Australia won the penalty shootout (pen. 5:4).

Representatives of the Green Continent will participate in the final World Cup tournament in Group D, along with Denmark, France and Tunisia.

The final ticket to the 2022 World Cup will be played on June 14 by the teams of Costa Rica and New Zealand. The 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December.
