1.8 million tickets for the World Cup in Qatar have already been sold
The World Cup organizers have already sold 1.8 million tickets for the games next November in Qatar.
According to a FIFA announcement on Wednesday (June 29), 1.8 million tickets for the World Cup games in Qatar in November 2022 have already been sold.
Qataris bought the most tickets, with sales boosted by a special discount available only to them.
Tickets have also been sold in other countries such as Canada, UK, France, Germany, India, Saudi Arabia, Spain, United Arab Emirates and the United States.
In fact, the organizers hope to offer a total of 3 million tickets during the World Cup.
