Draw for Mexico, important win for Panama in World Cup qualifiers
Mexico drew 0-0 with Costa Rica and stayed in 3rd place with 18 points. An important victory over Jamaica was won by Panama, who were closing in on the trio.
The 10th game of World Cup qualifiers in the CONCACAF zone ended in three games. Mexico failed to overtake USA and maintain their lead over Canada as they drew 0-0 with Costa Rica.
This puts Mexico in third place with 18 points, as does the USA. In fifth place with 13 points is Costa Rica, who continue their fight for the quartet.
Panama celebrated an important victory, beating Jamaica 3-2. In the standings, although he remained in 4th place, he reduced to -1 from Mexico and the USA and entered the game of his direct qualifier in Qatar strongly. Eventually El Salvador won 2-0 against Honduras.
