World Cup
USA and Honduras played in -19 degrees Celsius, shirt boned
The players of the USA and Honduras competed in Qatar for the World Cup qualifier in freezing cold temperatures of -19 degrees Celsius. It is characteristic that a wet jersey was ossified on the pitch due to the cold.
The national team of the United States of America beat Honduras 3-0 to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar on Thursday night (February 3).
The teams biggest opponent was together and that was the cold as the temperature in Minnesota reached -19 degrees Celsius. The conditions were adverse, with Two Honduran players left at half-time with hypothermia, while others required intravenous serum to recover.
As a matter of fact, Minnesota’s polar cold conditions were enough to shred a wet T-shirt on the field, with reporters attempting to “break” it with punches, but to no avail. It is worth noting that the players wore protective gear.
