Deschamps fears possible “shocks” in Pogba-Mbappe’s relationship
Didier Deschamps is particularly concerned about the Paul Pogba case and Kylian Mbappe’s ‘implication’ because if the allegations are true, the France national team will face a new ‘Benzema-Valbuena’ case.
The Paul Pogba case also involved Kylian Mbappe, with the Juventus midfielder’s brother accusing him of hiring a magician to cast a spell on the Paris Saint-Germain superstar.
French media reports that Mbappe and his entourage are watching the case and awaiting the possible existence of “tangible evidence” that would prove Matias Pogba’s allegation against his brother. According to Equipe, the specific case also worried Didier Deschamps.
Paul Pogba underwent knee surgery in July and is in contention for the World Cup. When he is finally ready for the tournament and on condition that the specific categories apply, he will have to find a solution in the relations between the two footballers who are regular members of the national team.
The ‘Tricolor’ has suffered in the past from the Benzema-Valbuena case, when the two footballers stayed out of calls for some time and the Real Madrid forward returned to the France national team after several years.
