Three-time Olympic champion in biathlon and cross-country skiing Anfisa Reztsova, in an interview with RB Sport, expressed confidence that the International Ski Federation (FIS) will allow Russian athletes to compete under its auspices.
– I think the FIS will not follow the IBU and will not extend the suspension of the Russians. Our skiers know how to defend the rights of their athletes, unlike biathletes,” said Reztsova.
Earlier, the head of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR), Elena Vyalbe, said that the International Ski Federation (FIS) should decide on the admission of Russians to participate in competitions under the auspices of the organization in early October.
At the last congress of the International Biathlon Union (IBU), the suspension of Russian athletes was extended.
