Seattle Seahawks vs. Denver Broncos score, recap, stats and highlights: Russell Wilson falls on return at Lumen Field

@Broncos

The return of Russell Wilson to the only stadium where he was a native until this season, was far from what the now-Broncos quarterback surely expected. In his new jacket debut, a screw Wilson he did a good job, but Denver lost in visiting Seattle 17-16.

Brandon McManus had the option to win it with one 63 yard kickbut kicker the visitor found no accuracy in this long effort.

Although all attention was on Wilson, the figure of the night was geno smith, justifying the decision to slot him as Seattle’s starting QB. Smith finished with a almost perfect performance, missing just 5 passesadding no interceptions and scoring two touchdowns.

Wilson, for his part, reached 340 yards on 42 attempts.with the highest point of the night coming in a connection of Jerry Jeudy’s 67-yard touchdown runalbeit in a game with far more responsibility from the receiver (and mistakes from the defense), rather than a great outing from the former Seahawks.

After a first half full of goals, the second saw just 3 total points (kick by McManus). Something perhaps to be expected in the case of a Seattle projected among the worst teams in the NFC, but worrisome in the case of a Broncos considered among the strongest in the AFC.

The tipping point of the race? A pair of hits by Broncos running backs (Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams) at the opposing 1-yard line during the third quarter. Two specific touchdown picks for Denver, which ended without even a field goal.

“We jumped to conclusions.” The SBR named the real reasons for postponing the men’s individual race at the Russian Cup stage in Tyumen

Executive Director of the Russian Biathlon Union (SBR) Alexander Pak said on Match TV that the men’s individual race at the second stage of the Alfa-Bank Russian Biathlon Cup in Tyumen was not postponed due to a power failure.

The race will take place on December 12, starting at 10:00 Moscow time. The competition was originally scheduled for Thursday, December 11th. Earlier, the press service of the SBR reported that the race was postponed due to an accident in the electrical network supplying the lighting of the Pearl of Siberia complex.

— Before all competitions we conduct TV tests. And we determined that the lighting on the track, unfortunately, is not enough for a high-quality TV broadcast. Therefore, we decided to postpone the start date. So that athletes can run in comfortable conditions, so that TV viewers can see a high-quality picture.

– Are we talking about an accident? Technical solution?

– Yes, at first we rushed to the conclusion. There is no accident,” Pak said on Match TV.
