“Sometimes you even want to slow them down in training” – Gerbulova about Khalili and Serokhvostov

Biathlete of the Russian national team Natalya Gerbulova said that she was impressed by the attitude to the training of Karim Khalili and Daniil Serokhvostov, who are engaged with her in the group of Artem Istomin.

– The guys are great fellows, I admire both Karim Khalili and Danya Serokhvostov. They charge for training and give themselves as if it were the last time. For example, Danya was sick and was not there, and recently he was released to the cross, and there was something like “Release the Kraken” – he just had to be slowed down (smiles). Even at shooting, they constantly turn each other on: “I have to be better”, “No, I have to be better”, and they train like this. The guys are great fellows, and even when the inter-gathering, I ask: “Guys, will you rest now?”, And they: “No, we will train.” So sometimes they even want to slow down. It’s very cool that the guys are with us, and I hope and believe that they will continue to grow and win everyone, ”Gerbulova told the Championship.

Russian biathletes suspended from international competitions due to the situation in Ukraine. In the 2022/23 season, the Commonwealth Cup is held with the participation of athletes from Russia and Belarus.
