The team of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra won the women’s relay (4 × 6 km) at the Russian Biathlon Championship.

This team, which was played by Elizaveta Kaplina, Ekaterina Noskova, Alina Kudisova, Kristina Reztsova, showed a time of 1 hour 10 minutes 0.1 seconds.

    The Swedish team, consisting of Ella Halvarsson, Anna Magnusson, Elvira and Hanna Oeberg, recorded a time of 1 hour 6 minutes 52.4 seconds, using seven extra rounds and avoiding penalty loops.

    The second place was taken by the Norwegian team (Marte Johansen, Ingrid Tandrevold, Caroline Knotten, Maren Kirkade; +40.3 seconds, 9 additional rounds and 0 penalty loops). The German team closed the top three (Anna Weidel, Julia Tannheimer, Janina Hettich, Vanessa Voigt; +51.3 seconds; 8+0).

    Olympic bronze medalist Eduard Latypov won the sprint race at the second stage of the Alfa-Bank Russian Biathlon Cup in Tyumen.

    Latypov covered the 10 km distance in 21 minutes 39.2 seconds, without making a single mistake at two shooting ranges. The second was Olympic bronze medalist Karim Khalili (lag – 24.6 seconds; 0 misses), the top three was rounded out by Alexander Povarnitsyn (+29.2; 0 misses).
