It seems like it’s never a dull affair when the cowboys and Giants they face each other. The NFC East foes renew their rivalry this week at “Monday Night Football”with a division looking wide open this season.
The Cowboys come into the game coming off an important win over the Bengals. With Dak Prescott injured and Dallas facing a scary 0-2 start, backup quarterback Cooper Rush led a decisive drive in the closing minutes to set up a game-winning field goal by Brett Maher.
The win got the Cowboys back on track after their brutal season-opening loss to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in Week 1, in which they failed to get into the end zone and Prescott was injured in the final minutes. They hope to turn their newfound momentum into a victory at the Meadowlands.
For their part, the Giants are in a privileged status after his first 2-0 start since 2016.
A thrilling comeback against the Titans in Week 1 got the season off to a terrific start. Daniel Jones found Chris Myarick in the end zone with just over a minute left on the clock, and Saquon Barkley converted on a 2-point attempt to give New York the lead and eventually the win.
Last week, a 56-yard field goal by Graham Gano and decisive fourth-quarter defense led to a win over the Panthers.
