The Pittsburgh Steelers they were seeing good performance Kenny Pickett inside Week 6 win against the Buccaneersbut lost their 1st Round pick due to a concussion.

Pickett received a hard hit by Buccaneers linebacker Devin White, while throwing a pass midway through the third quarter. The pass was completed but the rookie was injured on the play. The general was able to get out under his own power. However, he went to the medical stage and then to the locker room, never to return to action.

The Steelers later announced that Pickett would be out for the rest of the game with a concussion. The young QB was done 11 of 18 passing for 67 yards and a touchdown before leaving the party. The touchdown pass went to Najee Harris and was the first of the rookie’s career.

Mitch Trubisky was called in to replace Pickett. The former Bears quarterback started the first four games of the season before being replaced by Pickett at halftime against the Jets during Week 4.

Trubisky rose to the occasion and ended up with 9 completions on 12 passes for 144 yards and a touchdownleading Pittsburgh to a 20-18 upset victory.

The Steelers take it over The Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football on Sunday, October 23rd and we will have to wait for Pickett’s development to know if he can be in the game or not.

The Russian Biathlon Union will resume Tyumen’s bid to host the World Championships, the head of the RBU, Viktor Maigurov, said on Match TV.

The last time the World Championship was held in Russia was in 2011, the tournament was hosted by Khanty-Mansiysk.

“We will renew Tyumen’s bid to host the World Cup,” Maigurov said on Match TV.

Russian biathletes have been suspended from international competitions since 2022 due to the conflict in Ukraine. On Wednesday it became known that the RBU filed a lawsuit with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to challenge the exclusion of athletes from Russia from competing under the auspices of the IBU.

At the moment, the venues for the World Championships are distributed until 2029 inclusive.
