In May, NFL suspends DeAndre Hopkinsone of the most defining wide receivers in the competition, for six games. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to report news. The sanction took effect at the start of the 2022 season and the former Houston Texans will make his campaign debut against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football.
The motives; ONE violation of the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances;. Because of the number of games interrupted for Hopkins, it is believed that the substance found was a anabolic agent.

It is worth remembering that Hopkins missed eight games of the 2021 campaign with a knee injury, including his absence in the Wild Card Round against the eventual champion Rams (a 34-11 loss). The 29-year-old receiver completed the 10 games he played 42 receptions for 572 yards, 8 touchdowns and 57.2 yards per game.
Hopkins had his second-lowest averages in receptions per game (4.2) and yards per game (57.2), both before his rookie year. Although of course, a lot had to do with the fact that he wasn’t as sought after by Kyler Murray as he was in his Texans years: His 8.9 yards per pass effort was the third best of his career.
