We’re almost halfway through the regular season. Fantasy NFL And the weeks keep flying by. However, the Goodbye they complicate things, and this is one of the few weeks where the quarterback is really affected. In order not to give up the dream of going strong, we have the ranking so you can look for a good substitute.

We have a new #1 QB in the Week 7 rankings with Lamar Jackson (against the Browns in Week 7), thanks in part to the Bills, Eagles, Vikings and Rams being out. This removes the usual number 1, Josh Allenas well as the candidate in the first four, Jay Hertz. Kirk Cousins and Matthew Stafford are also typically low-end QB1s or top benchers.

Last week we highlighted a few QBs who fit as viable streaming options thanks to favorable matchups. The biggest ones were Jameis Winston (@Cardinals), Kenny Pickett (@Dolphins) and Jimmy Garoppolo (vs. Chiefs). Obviously, Winston (back) and Pickett (concussion) are hampered by injuries, but the numbers suggest these quarterbacks can put up a decent amount of points. Andy Dalton and Mitchell Trubisky could even have some deep league traction if Winston and Pickett can’t go.

If you’re willing to dig a little deeper, Davis Mills (@Raiders), Ryan Tannehill (vs. Colts), Matt Ryan (@Titans) and Jacoby Brissett (@Ravens) are also in favorable positions. The ceilings on all of these QBs are low because they all operate in rushing offenses, but expecting 230 yards and two TDs is reasonable given the matchups. Ryan is our favorite in this groupbut that’s not saying much.

In terms of injuries, it is likely that Tua Tagoavailoa Miami (concussion) will be back at center in Week 7 against the Steelers, while it’s unclear if Carson Wentz (finger), Mac Jones (ankle), Baker Mayfield (ankle), Winston (back), Trubisky (concussion) and Dak Prescott (thumb) will return. Prescott (@Lions) should start, given the matchupbut if he’s out, add Cooper Rush to the list of candidates.

Derek Carr (vs. Texans), Trevor Lawrence (vs. Giants), Jared Goff (@Cowboys) and Wentz (vs. Packers) are the most notable QBs we have. Carr always has high potential, but an injury to Darren Waller (hamstring) and possible suspension of Davante Adams could drop him further down the rankings. We recommend not starting either of these QBs, but given the state of the week, we understand if you’re forced to start one of them.

All in all, this is not a good week for quarterbacks. Some of the top guys have tough matchups (Patrick Mahomes @ 49ers, Kyler Murray vs. Saints) and as disappointing as they were, you should probably stick with veterans Aaron Rodgers (@Commanders) and Tom Brady ( @Panthers ) given the matchups and their upper limits.
