Who is the receiver with the most passing yards in an NFL game?

The NFL It is a league with more than a hundred years and thousands of matches in its history. With so much travel, American football has great brands that seem hard to topple.

The SportingNews presents one of them: most passes by a player in a game of the NFL.

Who is the receiver with the most passing yards in an NFL game?

Despite playing 10 seasons in the NFL, with 114 regular season games and 4 postseason games, Flipper Anderson he is not a weighty name in NFL history. However, the receiver holds a record that has stood for more than 30 years and seems unbeatable: being the player with the most yards through the air in one game.

In the game against the New Orleans Saints on November 26, 1989, the Los Angeles Rams WR finished with 336 yards on 15 catches, averaging 22.4 per goal. Such a mark didn’t translate into more than a TD, though it served as his team’s 20-17 victory. With that duel as the key game, Anderson finished that year as the best of his career: he totaled 1,145 yards (5 TDs).

The last player to reach the 300 yard line was Julius Jones: The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver shined against the Carolina Panthers defense in a 48-33 win on Oct. 2, 2016. He finished with an average of 25 passing yards (12 completions) and one touchdown on the day. Worth mentioning for TE with most yards in a game: Shannon Sharpof the Denver Broncos, had 214 in 2002 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
