By now, you probably have a good idea of who the wide receivers are for each week, but bye weeks and injuries can throw off those plans. If that’s the case, leave the WR ratings for it Fantasy NFL will help you decide who to start this crucial week.
With the Ravens, Bengals, Patriots and Jets on vacation, we will miss notable WRs like Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, Jakobi Meyers, Devin Duvernay and Garrett Wilson. This will certainly affect the construction of the ownership roster, but most can agree that we are better off getting Deebo Samuel (hamstring), CeeDee Lamb, Brandon Aiyuk, Amari Cooper, Diontae Johnson, Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, George Pickens and Wan’ Dale Robinson, among others.

If you need a fill-in for the week, there are several options widely available, including Terrace Marshall Jr. (vs. Falcons), DeAndre Carter (@49ers), Zay Jones and Marvin Jones Jr. (@Chiefs) , Isaiah McKenzie (vs. Vikings), Wan’Dale Robinson (vs. Texans), Mecole Hardman and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (vs. Jaguars), Alec Pierce and Parris Campbell (@Raiders), Kalif Raymond (@ Bears), KJ Hamler (@Titans) and Donovan Peoples-Jones (Dolphins). All have favorable matchups and have shown the ability to score goals or make big plays.
We like Marshall Jr., Peoples-Jones and Robinson better, but Carter, Zay Jones and Hardman are also safe bets. McKenzie, Marvin Jones Jr., Valdes-Scantling, Hamler, Raymond and the Colts are better suited for deeper leagues, but they can also produce specific matchups.
If you don’t want to go that deep, you can also pick disappointing WRs like DeVonta Smith (vs. Commanders), Courtland Sutton (@Titans), Darnell Mooney and Chase Claypool (vs. Lions), JuJu Smith-Schuster (vs. Jaguars) , George Pickens and Diontae Johnson (vs. Saints), all of whom are in good position this week and should pay for those relatively high draft spots.

Conversely, some other WRs in tough spots based on matchups are Adam Thielen (@Bills), Brandin Cooks (@Giants), Rondale Moore (@Rams), Allen Robinson (vs. Cardinals), Michael Gallup ( @ Packers ), Curtis Samuel (@ Eagles), Robert Woods (vs. Broncos) and Drake London (@ Panthers). We still think Moore, London and maybe Cooks (staff), if he comes back, are worth using, but neither is a sure thing. The floors on this team are a bit higher than the floors on the ones already mentioned, but the ceilings are definitely lower this week.
On the injury front, we’ll keep an eye on Romeo Doubs (ankle), Keenan Allen (hamstring), Mike Williams (ankle), Treylon Burks (toe), Jahan Dotson (hamstring) and the aforementioned Samuel (hamstring). Allen and Williams will be mandatory starters if they return, but it seems unlikely that both will return against the 49ers.
