As we enter the NFL Fantasy playoffs, making the right decisions to start or sit WR3s and flexes is just as important as setting up WR1s and 2s. Due to struggles, injuries and targets, each week lends itself to a new set of potential candidates to make the jump. Our Week 11 WR rankings can help you through a tough week at the deep position.

Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, Jakobi Meyers and Garrett Wilson are top WRs returning from bye, but we lose Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Mike Evans, Christian Kirk, Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf and Chris Godwin. Even though the WR position is deep enough to last through a four-team week, this week’s losses seem to sting more than usual, especially when you consider losing to poor Miami and Jacksonville pass defenses. . With not a fair number of plug-and-play quarterbacks available, there’s a chance you’ll be looking for a terrific replacement option in the free agent pool.

If that’s the case, check out Terrace Marshall Jr. (@Ravens in Week 11), Devin Duvernay and Demarcus Robinson (@Panthers), Darius Slayton and Wan’Dale Robinson (vs. Lions), Michael Gallup (vs. Vikings) Nico Collins (vs. Commanders), DeAndre Carter ( vs. Chiefs) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Kadarius Toney (@Chargers) can be picked out of the bag. Their goals vary, but favorable matchups await them. MVS and Toney are especially interesting after JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) was out early and Mecole Hardman (abdomen) sat out Week 10.

Smith-Schuster wasn’t the only notable WR injured in Week 10. Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Jerry Jeudy (ankle) out for Week 11, paving the way for upsets Allen Robinson II (@Saints) and Courtland Sutton (vs. Raiders) to see more targets and be “must-starts.” Van Jefferson (@Saints), Ben Skowronek (@Saints) and Kendall Hinton (vs. Raiders) also have some league exposure, but it’s hard to trust any of those receivers in underperforming offenses.

Romeo Doubs (ankle), Mike Williams (ankle), Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Ja’Marr Chase (hip) have also been sidelined of late. Doubs or Chase are unlikely to return, but both Chargers have a chance to show up. If even one of them returns, Josh Palmer (vs. Chiefs) would lose some value, but a favorable matchup still gives him room to improve. Likewise, Christian Watson (vs. Titans) has a lot of potential given the matchup, and the higher expected target percentage is the icing on the cake.

Wide receivers include DeVonta Smith (@ Colts), Curtis Samuel and Jahan Dotson (@ Texans), Garrett Wilson (@ Patriots), Robert Woods, Treylon Burks and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (@ Packers), Drake London (@ Bears ) Donovan Peoples-Jones (@Bills), Parris Campbell (vs. Eagles) and Mack Hollins (@Broncos) could all underperform due to tough matchups. We still think Smith, Wilson and Samuel should be on most rosters., while London, DPJ and Campbell also have many possibilities. Some of these WRs are better suited for PPR leagues, but have a decent floor in standard leagues. However, check to see if there are better alternatives available before blindly including them in your lineup.

Some of those top picks may already be on your list, like Darnell Mooney and Chase Claypool (vs. Falcons). In any case, this is the time of year when every decision to start or sit a player must be carefully considered. You’ll need to take a few leaps of faith at WR this week, whether it’s starting a decent player in a bad matchup or going with an inconsistent player in a good one, so assess your team’s needs and choose the option that does the most makes sense to you.
