Canada kept its hopes of making the women’s curling playoffs alive with a 7-6 win over the United States on Wednesday at the Beijing Olympics.

The Canadians sign a third victory in a row, which allows them to move from 7th to 4th place in the standings. The top four countries will advance to the semi-finals.

Canada now shows a 4-3 record. He still has two games to play, including a Wednesday morning against China.

Skip Jennifer Jones’ team took an early lead with four runs in the first three runs, but the Americans managed to come back. Jones finally got the point that made the difference with a field goal in the tenth end.
