SBR named the preliminary date for the election of the head of the organization

The reporting and election conference of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU), at which the head of the organization will be elected, will tentatively take place on June 23, vice-president of the organization Alexei Nuzhdov told Match TV.
– The conference is tentatively scheduled for June 23, officially it is not yet known exactly. The event is planned in Moscow, most likely in the Olympic Committee. Deadlines for nominees are not yet closed, of course. According to the charter, 10 days before the conference, the regions can submit their candidatures,” Nuzhdov said.
Earlier, Nuzhdov announced that he would be elected to the post of president of the RRF. The current head of the organization, Viktor Maigurov, who has been in office since 2020, also spoke about his intention to be re-elected.

French biathlete Lou Jeanmonnot won the pursuit race at the third stage of the World Cup in Annecy (France).
The athlete, who started from the second position, covered the 10 km distance in 27 minutes 58.8 seconds, making one mistake at the shooting range.
The silver medal was won by the representative of Finland, Suvi Minkkinen (lag – 30.2 seconds, 0 misses), who climbed to the podium from sixth place at the start. Italian Dorothea Wierer repeated the result of the sprint and finished third (+32.7; 1 miss).
The winner of the sprint race, Hanna Oeberg, made four shooting errors and finished the pursuit seventh (+47.2).
Later on Saturday, the men’s pursuit race will take place at the Annecy World Cup.

Biathlete Kristina Reztsova said on Match TV that skier Alexander Bolshunov does not greet her, despite the fact that they competed together at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing.
