The International Ski Federation (FIS) does not plan to impose sanctions on Russian skiers Alexander Bolshunov and Denis Spitsov for participating in a concert-rally at Luzhniki, the press service of the organization told Match TV.
Earlier, the International Swimming Federation (FINA) issued a decision to suspend two-time Olympic champion Yevgeny Rylov from participating in all competitions and events under the auspices of the organization for 9 months due to attending a concert-rally in Luzhniki dedicated to the reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia.
“No additional sanctions have been reported yet,” FIS answered the question of whether the attitude towards Bolshunov and Spitsov had changed after the FINA sanctions against Rylov.
