The position of head coach in the Russian national biathlon team is not needed, says Anfisa Reztsova

Three-time Olympic champion Anfisa Reztsova, in a conversation with Match TV, said that she did not support the idea of returning the post of head coach of the Russian biathlon team.
– I don’t really go into it. I don’t know what’s going on with them now. And yes, it’s the holidays. I personally think that this position is redundant. But management knows better.
Christina’s opinion? Athletes now have a break, rest after a long and difficult season. Therefore, they, too, are now a little on the sidelines, they do not delve into it. Little depends on them: who will be the president of the RBU, whether we will have a head coach in the team, and so on. If she communicated with Maygurov, then there was practically no communication with Nuzhdov, because she trained on her own after giving birth, preparing for the starts. Therefore, she also cannot say anything specifically, ”Reztsova told Match TV.
The reporting and election conference of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) is scheduled for June.
