Skier Kuleshova won the skiathlon at the Russian Cup stage in the Kirov region, Stepanova was second
Anastasia Kuleshova won gold in the 15 km skiathlon at the Alfa-Bank Russian Cup in cross-country skiing, which takes place in Kirovo-Chepetsk (Kirov region).
Kuleshova showed a result of 41 minutes 43.4 seconds. Olympic champion Veronika Stepanova took second place (lag – 57.7 seconds), Lidiya Gorbunova (+1.22.2) closed the top three.
Also in the top six were Evgenia Krupitskaya (+1.22.4), Maria Istomina (+1.23.3) and Elizaveta Pantrina (+1.35.6).
Later on Sunday there will be a men’s 30 km skiathlon.
