The leader of the rating of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU), Victoria Metelya, will not perform at the Commonwealth Cup stage in Tchaikovsky (Perm Territory) for health reasons, host Dmitry Zanin said on Match TV.

The third stage of the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Biathlon Cup will be held in Tchaikovsky on December 19–21. Sprint races are scheduled for Friday, pursuit races for Saturday, and mass starts for Sunday.

“Victoria Metelya, the leader of the SBR rating, where all races of the season are counted, will not compete in Tchaikovsky, because she is very ill, she has taken ill,” Zanin said on the air of the “Everyone for the Match!” program. on the Match TV channel.
