Natalia Shevchenko won the sprint race at the second stage of the Alfa-Bank Russian Biathlon Cup in Tyumen.
Shevchenko covered the 7.5 km distance in 19 minutes 33.2 seconds, without making a single mistake at two shooting ranges. The second was the silver medalist of the Olympic Games Irina Kazakevich (lag – 9.5 seconds; 0 misses), the top three was completed by Yulia Kovalenko (+25.5; 0 misses).
