Pekletsova won the classic time trial at the Russian Cup stage in Chusovoy, Stepanova took her first medal after returning
Alina Pekletsova won the 10 km race in the classic style at the PhosAgro Russian Cup in cross-country skiing in Chusovoy (Perm region).
At the finish of the time trial, 19-year-old Pekletsova was one second ahead of Olympic champion Veronica Stepanova, who won her first medal after resuming her career. The top three winners were completed by Evgeniya Krupitskaya (+46.3).
For Pekletsova, this victory was the fourth since the start of the season within the framework of the National Cup.
