Veronika Stepanova won the sprint at the stage of the Russian Cup in cross-country skiing in Chusovoy
Olympic champion Veronika Stepanova won the freestyle sprint race at the PhosAgro Russian Cup stage in Chusovoy (Perm region).
Alena Baranova won silver (lag – 2.04 seconds), the top three was rounded out by Olympic champion Yulia Stupak (+2.13).
On Sunday, the men’s and women’s pursuit races will take place at the Russian Cup stage.
