Norwegian biathletes won the relay at the World Cup in Ruhpolding

Norwegian biathletes won the 4×6 km relay at the fifth stage of the World Cup in Ruhpolding, Germany.
The Norwegian team (Marte Krakstad Johansen, Juni Arnekleive, Caroline Offigstad Knotten, Maren Kirkade) won with a result of 1 hour 7 minutes 6.2 seconds, using 9 additional cartridges.
Second were the Italians Hanna Auchenthalle, Dorothea Wierer, Michela Carrara and Lisa Vittozzi, who lost 0.9 seconds to Kirkade at the finish line. The Italian team also avoided penalty loops and used four additional rounds.
The top three were completed by the Swedish team, represented by Johanna Skottheim, Lynn Gestblom, Elvira Oeberg and Hannah Oeberg (+3.0; 0/7).
On Thursday, January 15, the men’s 4×7.5 km relay will take place at the World Cup in Ruhpolding.
