Paralympian Lekomtsev took third place at the World Cup in cross-country skiing in Germany
Two-time Paralympic champion Vladislav Lekomtsev won bronze in the 10-kilometer mass start race at the second stage of the Paralympic Ski World Cup in Finsterau (Germany).
The Russian competes standing and competes in class LW6 (defeat/absence of one upper limb). He covered a distance of 10 kilometers in 28 minutes 40.6 seconds.
The victory was won by the representative of China Wang Chengyang (LW5/7), who showed a final time of 28 minutes 16.7 seconds, the second was Belarusian Roman Sviridenko (28.20.5; LW4)
Participation in these competitions allows athletes to accumulate ranking points, which are a mandatory criterion for receiving two-way invitations to the 2026 Paralympic Games in Italy.
The Winter Paralympic Games will take place from 6 to 15 March 2026 in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
