Bolshunov qualified from 27th place for the sprint race at the Russian Cup stage in Kazan
Three-time Olympic champion in cross-country skiing Alexander Bolshunov took 27th place in the qualification of the sprint race in the classic style at the PhosAgro Russian Cup stage in Kazan.
The first result was shown by Vladislav Osipov – 2 minutes 54.99 seconds. Konstantin Tiunov was second (lag – 2.43 seconds), the top three was closed by Danila Karpasyuk (+2.73).
Bolshunov lost 7.70 seconds to the winner, but was among the top 30 skiers who advanced to the quarterfinals.
Skiers will continue competitions at 13:00 (Moscow time).
