Coach Gumennik: “Since Petya qualified, he has an electronic visa, which is included in the accreditation for the Olympics”
Peter Gumennik’s coach Veronica Daineko told Match TV that the skater has an electronic visa for the Olympic Games in Italy, so there should be no problems with access to the competition.
Earlier, Gumennik said that he does not plan to obtain a visa to enter Italy for the Olympic Games. The Russian figure skater won the qualifying tournament for the Olympics last year and won the right to participate in the Games.
— Petya doesn’t have to worry about his visa. Since he passed the qualifying tournament, he has an electronic visa, which is included in his accreditation for the Olympic Games,” Daineko told Match TV.
Earlier, Gumennik accepted the invitation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to participate in the 2026 Games. The skater will compete in neutral status.
The Olympic Games will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo from 6 to 22 February.
