Saveliy Konovalov won the sprint at the Commonwealth Biathlon Cup stage in Belarus
Russian biathlete Savely Konovalov won the sprint race at the Alfa-Bank Commonwealth Cup stage in Raubichi (Belarus).
Konovalov covered the 10 km distance in 24 minutes 44.2 seconds, avoiding mistakes at two shooting ranges. Second place went to Russian Karim Khalili (lag – 6.0 seconds; 0 misses), the top three was completed by Belarusian Anton Smolsky (+10.6; 0).
On Saturday, men’s and women’s pursuit races will be held in Raubichi.
