Olympic champion Nikita Kryukov said he intends to continue working with the Chinese cross-country skiing team.
Since the fall of 2020, the 37-year-old athlete has been the coach of the Chinese team.
— Yes, I think I will continue to work with the Chinese team. It is not yet known exactly, it all depends on the Chinese side. There is no contract yet, but we have already agreed in words. I hope the contract will cover the next Olympic cycle. The timing of my return to China depends on the visa, tickets, with this now there are big problems. Kryukov is the 2010 Olympic champion in the individual sprint, the silver medalist of the 2014 Games in the team sprint, and is also a three-time world champion.
