The NFL Top 100 is back, for the 12th year in a row. The play has become a phenomenon that captivates NFL audiences between preseason and regular season games.
The NFL’s methodology with its Top 100 is simple. The league polls players and asks them to vote on who they think is the best in the league. It then aggregates these results and creates the ranking.
Of course, this list often causes a stir. There are always numerous throwbacks and surprises that fans will endlessly discuss. But since the players are the ones voting on this list, it’s hard to get too upset. The payroll has legitimacy, since the protagonists are those who face their colleagues weekly.
NFL to release 2022 top 100 list in a two-week period in August.

- Positions 50 to 21: Sunday, August 21
- Positions 20 to 1: Sunday, August 28
