“Now I would not like to return to the main team of Russia” – biathlete Slivko

Russian Victoria Slivko spoke about the reasons why she does not want to return to the main team of Russia in biathlon.
The 28-year-old athlete continues to independently prepare for the 2022/23 season.
– I know for sure that there are people who believe that I went to self-training in order to prove something to someone in the national team, to beat the girls. These same people consider me a capricious athlete. No, I don’t have that! I’m not going to prove anything to anyone. I train now in a comfortable environment, despite the absence of a partner or partner with whom to fight. But I’m very cool psychologically. At the moment, I would not like to return to the main team and work in the group again,” Slivko quotes “Championship”.
At the moment, Russian and Belarusian biathletes are suspended from international starts due to the situation in Ukraine.
