The 2022 NFL Preseason is history, but before we start paying attention to Start of the Tactical Phaseit’s time to review some names that impressed during the three weeks of games and training.
With breaks for figures and basic rookies, the scene is always the perfect place to start finding reveals, surprise gems, Draft steals and many more. Below is a review of it 11 players which clearly left the preseason winners.
Isaiah LikelyBaltimore Ravens
The Ravens have one of the best closed wings of the championship in Mark Andrewsbut it seems they found another future figure Isaiah Likeley, selected in the 4th Round of the last Draft. The former Coastal Carolina tight end barely played two games, but it was enough for him leads team in receptions (12) and yards (144)in addition to receiving one of five touchdowns thrown by Baltimore quarterbacks.
Harbaugh used more than one tight end on 32% of their offensive snaps in 2021, so sure there will be several options for the Likely to see field. Especially in a team with a clear reception deficit.

Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers
Another team with doubts in the receiving field is the Packers, after the departure of DaVante Adams. It was important for Green Bay to find young players who were beginning to provide answers, another 2022 Draft 4th Round pickdid just that during these weeks of preparation: caught 8 passes for 82 yards and scored two touchdowns.
There will be a prominent place for him in the Packers offensebattling for a spot with veterans like Sammy Watkins and Randall Cobb.

Erik Ezukanma, Miami Dolphins
The 4th Round of the 2022 Draft looks to have brought a lot of talented names and Eric Ezukama, catcher for the Miami Dolphins, is another. The former Texas Tech added Caught 10 passes for 156 yards in three games.
Miami’s top two wide receivers, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, are all under 6-foot-6, so having found a viable option in Ezukanma 1.90mlooks like good news for Tua Tagovailoa and the rest of the offense.
If you didn’t know @MiamiDolphins Rookie WR 4th round draft pick, you do it now.
Meet up @erikezukanma.

Lance McCutcheon, Los Angeles Rams
Another catcher over 1.90m that he showed off in the preseason was Lance McCutcheon with the Los Angeles Rams. the rookie was not drafted after his career at Montana State and there are sure to be many franchises who will regret it after seeing his explosion this weeks: 15 receptions for 259 yards (preseason leaders) and 2 touchdowns. and all with generals low level throwing the ball like Bryce Perkins and John Wolford.
Unlike the others mentioned, McCutcheon is not expected to play a significant role in 2022with Allen Robinson, Van Jefferson and Cooper Kupp as the winning trio for the defending champion Rams, but that showed he can be an option for Sean McVay when needed.
.@mccutcheonlance he is a GREAT MAN 💪

Jalen Virgil, Denver Broncos
Another rookie, undrafted receiver? Jalen Virgil, of the Denver Broncos, also earns a roster spot with his performance. The short distance runner arose from Appalachian State was added 9 receptions for 180 yards (20 receivers) through three games and opened a lot of eyes with his production in an offense that featured Brett Rypien and Josh Johnson at quarterback.
The Broncos have two good receivers in Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy, but very few guarantees behind them. Will there be room for Virgil? The preseason leaves positive feelings about it.

George Pickens and Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh Steelers
Continuing with receivers, impossible not to mention George Pickens, a 2nd Round pick of the Steelers in the last Draft and perhaps the most impressive player this preseason. Its numbers are constant: 8 receptions, 84 yards and a touchdownthough it’s the flashes of talent and viral moments that have put his name in the limelight.

pickens will have prominent in Pittsburgh’s offense right awayperhaps even more so than who today looks like sophomore receiver Chase Claypool.
This offense probably starts with Mitchell Trubisky as the starting quarterback, but long term, it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to see Kenny Pickett in this role. The rookie, the only quarterback selected in the 1st round of the 2022 Draft, shined in the preseason: 29 of 36 completions, 261 yards, 3 touchdowns, 0 interceptions and a 124.7 rating.
Justin Fields, Chicago Bears
Just as Pickett and Trubisky are competing to start in Pittsburgh, Justin Fields Your place in Chicago is guaranteed. However, the athletic second quarterback had to show his progress after a shaky first season. And although the preseason doesn’t always measure up, it’s positive to have seen it at such an excellent level: 23 of 30 completions, 243 yards, 3 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, 133.1 rating and 22 other rushing yards in 4 frames.
Bears are meant to be one of the worst teams of 2022but the most important thing for them is to find out whether they have it or not marshal of the future in their classes.

Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit Lions
Justin Fields and the rest generals of the NFC North will have to deal with for years number two of the last Draft, Aidan Hutchinson. The Lions defensive lineman was retained for much of the preseason, but in his few break it was already obvious ability to pressure the opposing quarterback and be a nightmare at the line of scrimmage. Hutchinson had three tackles and half a sack in two games.

Travon Walker, Jacksonville Jaguars
From two in the 2022 draft, to number one. Jacksonville didn’t use Walker much in the preseason either, but when he was on the field, his very high physical and athletic capabilities he said present, especially when it comes to beating offensive linemen and pressuring them general opponent. He finished with 4 tackles and a catch.
#1 pick Travon Walker with his 1st NFL sack 🙌

Dameon Pierce, Houston Texans
Travon Walker’s Jaguars will meet their AFC South rivals, the Houston Texans, twice. And there, they will definitely have to deal with it rider who made the best impression this preseason: Dameon Pierce, another 2022 4th Round Draft pick.
He only played 2 games and added 11 runs, but it was enough to finish 86 yards (7.8 per carry) and a touchdown. With one important fact: He didn’t have any progress over 20 yards, so his high average isn’t explained by one or two explosive plays, but by consistency. And as if all that wasn’t enough he shone in his protection responsibilities. Aside from the fact that Houston added Marlon Mack in the preseason, Pierce’s high level has already put him as Texans starting running back.
