PAOK Mateco – GAS Kamaterou 30-14: biceps in the cup final

PAOK confirmed the title of favourite, defeated GAS Kamatero 30:14 and qualified for the cup final in women’s handball.

PAOK in the final of the 18th Final Four of the Women’s Handball Cup. For the 8th time in their history and for the 5th consecutive year, the biceps of the north qualified for the final of the Women’s Cup, beating GAS Kamatero 30-14 in the 1st semi-final of the 18th Final Four of Chalkida.

The “biceps” of the north will win their 6th cup and 4th in a row tomorrow at 16:00 (ertflix) against the winner of the 2nd semi-final Athinaikos – OFN Ionia (17:00).

The game: The first five minutes were evident with a 1-1 draw between the two teams, however, PAOK quickly managed to escape the score and made it 6-1 with Hatziparasidou in 9′ with a 5-0 streak.

The North’s “biceps” controlled the rhythm of the game and led 11-3 in the 17th minute, with Kamatero’s team responding, initially reducing 11-6 to 25 and 13-9 with Vassiliou almost halfway to the end of the game.

GAS Kamaterou with goalkeeper Michaela Vassiliou maintained their very good image and reduced it even further to 13-10 in 31′ and 14-12 in 36′ with a total score of 9-3.

Over the next five minutes, the more qualified and experienced team of Dimitris Pelekidis managed to find the solutions and essentially ‘lock’ the qualification, narrowing the difference to 8 goals (20-12) in 42′ with a streak of 6 recovering -0 and scoring 10 goals (23-13) at 47′

In the remaining minutes, PAOK extended their lead and easily reached 30:14 in the final.
