Giorgos Zaravinas (national coach) emphasized in the OHE press office: “It’s an important game for the development of the groups. We know that in these qualifying rounds it’s crucial that the teams win at home. It’s clear to us that we’re playing against an opponent at a different level, but we’ll try , to be competitive like in the previous games we have played here. The Netherlands-Belgium game showed that the teams are all competitive and the qualifiers are expected to be decided on the last match day. The way the game ended it was an important win for the Netherlands.”

For his part, Haris Mallios said: “We come from a very demanding game in Croatia, which gave us a lot of things and above all pace. With the Netherlands we play at home in a familiar stadium where we feel comfortable, we are confident. We expect the crowd fills the stadium and that will help us a lot. We had some great wins in Chalkida and I think we will be well prepared, both mentally and physically, to get the two points that we want so badly. That The team has a lot of will and I think we’ll show that on the pitch.”
