Despite being established by five goals, AEK suffered a defeat against Grundfos and lost all hope of qualifying for the “16” of the EHF Cup.

AEK suffered a 25-24 defeat by Grundfos in Hungary and now lost all hope of qualifying for the ’16’ of the EHF Cup.

In the first part of the game, the two teams played evenly and paid attention to their defense, with Grundfos leading by two goals, which AEK equalized at half-time (12-12).

Union played dynamically in the second half and even took a five-goal lead in the eighth minute (13:18), but Hungary came back and won the game in the end.
