Handball premiere: AEK, Olympiacos and PAOK continued with wins
The 8th match day of the handball premier ended without any great surprise with a winning streak by AEK, Olympiacos and PAOK.
AEK achieved a comfortable win over Ionikos by 29-39 in the 8th round of the handball premiere, which keeps them on the first place in the table.
Alexis Albanou’s side prevailed from start to finish, maintaining a safety advantage with an attacking majority.
Lemos and Rogulski excelled offensively, scoring 7 and 6 goals respectively, while Koukoulas, Troulos and Delichristos scored five goals for Ionikos.
Olympiacos SF/Omilos Xini, who won the 8th game of the championship with 31:29 against the struggling Bianco Monte Drama, celebrated the seventh victory in a row in the handball premiere.
The Greek champions controlled the game from the start, with Slavulitsa (6 goals), Niokas (5 goals) and Weber (5 goals) taking the lead.
The Drama team had a great day with 18-year-old regional Achillea Toska scoring 12 goals.
Zafiirakis won on the 8th match day of the handball premier in Thessaloniki with 19:30 against HANTH.
