OFNI won the derby with PAOK for A1 Women’s Handball, a walk-off win for Artas Renaissance
Nea Ionia won the derby with PAOK, winning 23-22 and becoming winter champion. Comfortable victory for Artas Renaissance against Orfeas Sourotis.
Nea Ionia emerged as the winter champion in the big derby of the 9th and last match day of the A1 round of A1 women’s handball against PAOK Mateco with 23:22.
The home side extended their winning streak (9/9), in contrast to the ‘double header’ from the North, who suffered their second defeat in the league and fell back to 3rd place in the standings and clearly gained ground for 1st place lost regular time.
Anagennisi Artas overcame the EHF Cup elimination with a comfortable victory over Orfea Sourotis with 33:18. An important win was also achieved by AESH Pylaias, who defeated AEP Panorama 30-34.
AEK won the match against Filippos without a fight as the Veria team left the league.
