A1 Women’s Handball: Easy mission for Nea Ionia, AEK prevailed with 39:22

Nea Ionia celebrated their tenth win in as many games, defeating AEK 39-22 and continuing their streak.

The hosts set the pace from the start and built up a lead that only grew until the end of the game.

Panorama started the second round of the Women’s A1 with an important win when they defeated Kamaterou 29-27 in Game 10.

The win is particularly significant for Panorama as they now shine in a draw with Team Kamatero on goal difference (in the first round Kamatero had prevailed 35-34).

Koulouri was crucial in the win with 8 goals, while the loss of Anastasia Vassiliou was important for Kamatero, who was sent off in the 35th minute for dangerous play.
