PAOK Mateco qualified for the A1 women’s final for the 8th time in its history, defeating AESH Pylaia 21-18 in the “Home of Handball” and achieving a 2-1 win in the semi-final series of the championship.

The “two-headed” of the north meet OFN Ionia in the final with a home disadvantage. The two teams are aiming for their 6th championship, with PAOK having 4 in a row.

The two clubs also met in the final of the cup, with Nea Ionia winning the title while this will be their 12th final overall in their history.
